If you own a snack vending machine, you probably already know what the main problems are. Vending motors die and control boards malfunction. Those are the two most common problems with snack vending machines.
Broken Vend Motors and Micro Switches
Replacing a broken vending motor is very easy to do. If you have a snack vending machine and some of the selections are not dispensing, chances are that you need to fix the vending motor. Most vending motors have at least one micro switch attached to them. The majority of the time it's the micro switch that goes bad. Testing micro switches is very easy to do, and will be discussed in detail in a different post.
Malfunctioning Control Boards
This is one of the hardest things to fix yourself. Unless you have general circuit board knowledge and parts available, it's better to have a professional handle fixing the main control boards. Most major vending supply companies have a service department that can handle fixing, or replacing your control board for your snack machine.
